When will it reach the recipient?
If you've sent a payment through Rho, it will settle at the recipient bank in accordance with standards within the federal banking system.
ACH Payments: ACH payments sent before 2:00 PM EST should settle same-day. Standard ACH payments sent after the 2:00 PM EST cutoff time can take between 1-3 business days to settle.
Please note that settlement times can vary based on the policies of the recipient bank. If over 3 business days have passed and the recipient has not yet received the ACH, please open the Transaction Details window of the transfer (by clicking on the transfer in your Banking Tab) to view the federal tracing number for that transaction (labeled TRACE). It will appear in the NOTE section of the Transaction Details window. You may provide this to the recipient to have their bank locate the funds from their side.
Domestic Wire Payments: Domestic Wire payments should settle same-day if sent before 3:00 PM EST in most cases. Domestic wires that are sent after the 3:00 PM EST cutoff should settle on the next business day.
Please note settlement times can vary based on the policies of the recipient bank. If over 3 business days have passed and the recipient has not yet received the funds, please open the Transaction Details window of the transfer (by clicking on the transfer in your Banking Tab) to view the federal tracing numbers for that transaction (IMAD/OMAD numbers). They will appear in the NOTE section of the Transaction Details window. You may provide this to the recipient to have their bank locate the funds from their side.
International Wires: International wires should arrive between 1-5 business days. Please note settlement times can vary based on the policies of the recipient bank. If over 5 business days have passed and the recipient has not yet received the funds, please reach out to a Rho business banker to request federal tracing numbers on the transaction (MT103 data) so the recipient bank can locate it.
Checks: Physical checks take up to 1 business day to be printed. To ensure your check is printed same-day we recommend initiating the payment prior to 8:15 am EST on a business day. Otherwise, your check will be printed the next business day.
Once printed, checks are mailed via USPS to your recipient. As standard mail via USPS typically takes 5-7 business days to arrive to your recipient, we estimate your check will arrive within 6-7 business days from the time a check is initiated from your account (or 9-10 calendar days)
Please note, checks will remain in pending status until your recipient deposits them into their bank account, and the deposit has settled. Deposit times depend on the policies of the receiving bank.
Linked Account Transfers: Linked Account transfers can take 2-3 business days to settle.
