I get a “token is invalid” error when clicking the link in my email
This error indicates that the email link is no longer valid, which might be caused by the reasons listed below. To generate a new link, please return to the beginning of sign-up flow and re-enter the same email used originally to generate a new email link.
-
Email links are one-time use only
-
Email links are valid for 24 hours
Which fields are mandatory and which are optional?
Mandatory items are marked with an asterix (*) both in the body of the sign-up flow as well as at the very end in the “Review your application” screen. All mandatory items must be completed to submit your application. You can always return to your application to complete additional non-mandatory details, even after you have submitted your application.
How do I return to my application?
You can return to your application at any time by re-entering the same email address you originally used to start your application. You will receive an email with a new link which will take you back to your in-progress application.
I’m having trouble uploading documents
Here are a few troubleshooting tips if you are having trouble uploading a file:
- If the file is zipped (compressed), please unzip (un-compress) the file before uploading
-
Please verify that the file type is one of the supported types for this section
-
There is a 10 MB maximum file size. If the file is larger than that, try reducing the file size if an image, or splitting the file into multiple portions if a PDF, CSV, DOC, XLS, or XLSX
Can multiple people work on the same application?
You can use the “Invite Collaborator” button at the top right to invite someone to help you complete your application.
-
You can provide a message for the collaborator which will be included in the email sent to them, indicating where you would like help with the application.
-
There is no limit to the number of collaborators that you can invite.
-
Only the user who created the application may invite collaborators.
-
A collaborator has access to the application until they log out or are logged out due to inactivity. So long as they stay active, there is no limit to how long they may work on the application.
-
Email links to collaborators are one time links. To obtain a new link, the primary user must invite them again (there is no limit to how many times this can happen). Links are good for 24 hours.
-
There is no limit to how many people (primary user + collaborators) can be editing the application at the same time, nor which sections they can access. If more than one person is editing a page at the same time, the version of the person who submits it first (clicks Continue or Submit at the bottom of the page) will be kept. Anyone else who submits afterwards, if it includes a field which was previously submitted, will receive an error message.
Why are some fields not visible when I go back?
Once a page has been completed, your answers will be encrypted for security purposes (your answers will appear as asterisks). If you return to an already completed page, you’ll be able to add information for any questions that were skipped, while questions that were previously answered won’t be editable.
What does Apply for Credit mean?
Rho’s offers a range of terms for corporate cards, some of which require underwriting.
If you’re interested in our 30-day Card, 45-day Card, or 60-day Card, answer “Yes” to apply for credit. Applying for these cards requires underwriting and we’ll need additional information about your business (see details below).
If you’re interested in our One-Day Card, answer “No.”
What documents do I need to apply for credit?
To apply for credit, we’ll need the below information:
-
Credit cards: please upload the most recent statement for each business credit card (corporate card or small business card)
-
Debt: if your company has any debt, we’ll ask you to upload a debt summary or provide details regarding your company’s loans
-
Bank accounts: you can either connect to your primary deposit accounts via Plaid, or upload the most 6 months of statements for all primary deposit accounts
-
Financials: you can either connect your accounting software, or upload balance sheets and income statements covering at least the last 12mo.
-
E-commerce: if your company uses Stripe or Square, you can connect your e-commerce data to help us provide the highest possible credit limit
Plaid does not support my bank account
If you are applying for credit but know that Plaid does not support your bank account, please still click on the “Connect Accounts” button. You can then exit the Plaid UI, and the page will display a link “Or Upload Documents Manually” where you can manually upload bank statements for the past 6 months for all main deposit accounts.
Why do we ask about intended card and bank usage?
We are able to offer a higher credit limit to clients that use Rho exclusively for their corporate cards and that use Rho as their primary operating account. We ask these questions in order to be able to provide the highest possible credit limit.
No person owns at least 25% of my business
In the event that no individual owns at least 25% of your business, you can add the person who exercises substantial control over the business instead (i.e. typically the CEO or financial officer).
What legal documents will I need?
To better understand your business, Rho also will ask for details about your company structure and for a few legal documents including:
-
Articles of incorporation
-
Company bylaws
If preferred, you can speak with a Rho representative before sharing these documents in the application.
